Susan Trubow is a San Francisco artist and art educator based in the Bay Area, boasting over four decades of experience in the arts. She embarked on her artistic journey after graduating from San Francisco State University in 1972, where she earned an Elementary Teaching Credential. Following her passion for art, she developed her skills under the mentorship of renowned artist Anne Kendall Foote at the Peninsula Serigraphers.
Susan's versatile work includes stunning serigraphs, acrylic paintings, and drawings, which have been exhibited worldwide in places such as Japan and the United Kingdom. Her art is also featured in numerous private and corporate collections, including those of the Bank of America and Peoria University. Additionally, she enriched her artistic expertise at the California School of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in 1989.
In her role as an art educator, Susan has taught art to children in various schools throughout the Peninsula and continues to offer private lessons from her studio in San Mateo. Her dedication to her craft and her students is reflected in her captivating artwork, which often emphasizes nature and showcases her creative and technical range.
